Position Summary

Kensington, the technology division of ACCO Brands Corporation (NYSE:ACCO), has a career opportunity to join our Chile Marketing Team as a Product Marketing Manager in Santiago, Chile.  


Specifically, this Product Marketing Manager position will collaborate with many functional areas, with a focus on product management responsibilities. Motivated individuals will have the opportunity to grow and advance within the marketing organization.  The ideal candidate should have an interest in a career in product, brand, or sales.  In this role, the Associate Product Manager will work with the Marketing Managers who have full Chile Kensington P&L responsibility for their portfolio of business, as well as own critical projects in the category. 


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the overall ownership of three-year product portfolio strategy, with accountability for specific categories in Kensington
  • Conduct financial analysis of product portfolio to support customer programs and product mix management
  • Execute plans within committed resources in conjunction with management direction
  • Collaborate with Marketing Management to frame strategy and deliver new product development in conjunction with the new product development process
  • Lead cross-functional teams on specific project assignments (i.e. new products, packaging, cost savings, inventory management, and go to market programs)
  • Participate in product/category customer presentations along with sales team as needed
  • Assess competition/threats and recommend plan of action
  • Assist in the development of annual objectives, programs and projects, which will improve the annual results
  • Assist in annual product life cycle planning 

Position Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business required

  • Advanced English language proficiency—both verbal and written

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in product, brand, channel, sales or project management

  • Experience with a consumer products company is preferred

  • Can-do mindset; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals across all organizational levels

  • Ability to effectively communicate, present, and persuade across a team and executive management

  • Ideal candidate must have the ability to work cross functionally within a matrix organization; influencing decisions and driving the business

  • Strong financial analysis and project management skills

  • Must possess good business instincts, problem solving and decision making capability

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required

  • Ability to travel 10% is required
