ACCO Brands is seeking a Channel Product Manager for Amazon focused on ACCO’s business growth strategies and execution at Amazon. Based in ACCO’s Lake Zurich Headquarters, this role will actively manage the Amazon product portfolio while collaborating with the Product Marketing team to deliver top line budgeted account sales & profitability. Additional responsibilities include item set-up implementation, supply chain oversight, performance measurement and collaboration with digital marketing team members on marketing programs. This role has P&L responsibility with the opportunity for significant impact to both customer and ACCO sales and profitability. Expectation is that the candidate will possess E-commerce sales and marketing experience that includes business and customer relationship skills to maximize productivity and performance of ACCO’s branded assortment on all sites and storefronts. The ideal candidate must be able to respond quickly to the customer's needs and changing market conditions. In addition, the candidate for this position must be able to work within a matrix environment to drive results.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis of product portfolio and product mix management
  • Provide project leadership within cross-functional teams to drive channel results
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to identify new product opportunities
  • Drive product development projects specific to Amazon (DI, Packs, Private Label, SIOC/FFP)
  • Participate in/lead cross-functional teams on specific project assignments (i.e. new products, packaging, cost savings, inventory management and marketing programs).
  • Pricing strategy and implementation for Amazon
  • Utilize analytical skills and ability to work with category management, market research and POS data to determine market and product strategies
  • Manage P&L and other budgets for Amazon account
  • Assesses competition, threats and recommended plan of action



Position Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required (Prefer Business Management or Marketing discipline), MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years business experience with marketing and/or sales focus is required
  • Ideal candidate must have the ability to work cross functionally within a matrix organization; influencing decisions and driving the business
  • 3+ years of experience from a Consumer Products company is preferred
  • Possesses strategic ability, analytical, and results oriented.
  • Has a proactive management style and excellent people/communication skills
  • Must have account/promotional planning, project management and pricing strategy skills
  • Must be the "voice of the customer"
  • Bid process experience is required
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership is required
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required
  • Ability to travel 20% is required
