ACCO Brands is seeking a Web Content Designer who will assists in the development and implementation of content for ACCO Brands products. Based in ACCO’s Lake Zurich Headquarters, the role will works collaboratively with marketers, writers, designers and brand owners to produce final layouts compatible with corporate standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for high volume, fast paced image production
  • Amazon A+ Content creation and upload- requires locating content in various systems, image creation and formatting, matching images to copy, loading to the Amazon system and archiving
  • Collaborates with Content Designers, Marketers, Product and Brand Managers in ideation, organization & creation of rich content
  • Creates web banners for internal and customer use
  • Gathers a high volume of content (requires searching databases for existing content, identifying needs and making content development requests)
  • Organizes, loads and maintains marketing content in internal database
  • Locate, download, perform post production work, archive and upload images in accordance with both ACCO and customer standards
  • Follows process and procedure to ensure usability and accessibility of design assets



Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working in digital content creation or web content support role within an agency or corporate environment
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Above average attention to detail
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional project management skills with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
  • Ability to read and execute against standards and specification documents, take direction, solicit feedback and make multiple rounds of revisions
  • Familiarity with content strategy and current web trends/best practices
  • Experience collaborating on cross-functional initiatives and contributing to business decisions
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in HTML, DHTML and CSS
  • Web standards knowledge required
  • Javascript, Jquery knowledge and and experience working in CMS preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills
