We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in San Mateo, CA to work with the Kensington Brand. The Supply Chain Specialist performs the production planning, re-buying and logistics activities required to support the companies finished goods inventory requirements. This position will assist with sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to generate the production plan and supplier purchase forecast for assigned product lines.
Subsequently, they will execute purchasing needs, expedite, de-expedite and re-balance inventory among our US and Global Distribution Centers, with a goal of maximizing customer fill rate and optimizing inventory investment. This position will prepare and distribute service reports, and will be the primary contact with US product teams, outsourced suppliers, logistics providers, and distribution centers regarding inventory, operational forecasts, and logistical issues.
