    ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $1.7 billion, is seeking a talented individual, who is looking for an opportunity to be part of an organization that is undergoing transformation to achieve best in class status in its operations.  As a Data Standards Associate, this role will interface with all levels of the organization working across the matrix in a cross functional capacity.   The Data Standards Associate role will work as part of the Data Standards team, which includes Item Master support and Data Synchronization. This position will carry a cross functional role and support various functions/tasks defined by the Data Standards Manager. The successful candidate will have the ability to work cross functionally with the following organizations:  Sales, Customer Care, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Sourcing, and Finance.

    • Daily support of Data Standard transactional requests, i.e. item related SAP and/or Oracle entry, Wercs, and Data Sync activities
    • Daily review and support of Data Standard workflows and designated e-mail boxes-work with team members to prioritize requests, and address within agreed service level
    • Item Master Administration


    Position Responsibilities:


    Item Master Administration

    • Review, audit and enter new item set up requests
    • Ensure that all data is kept consistent across all locations, while resolving all issues related to lack of adherence to the commonality of data elements
    • Update item related data, i.e. add additional item detail, status changes, sunset dates, enable system interface flags
    • Audit of new item related data to ensure correctness in ERP system
    • Build bills, routings, recipes for the effective execution of the manufacturing process orders and standard costs

    Special Projects/Department Support as defined by Organization/Management

    • Provide support for activities which can fall within immediate scope of responsibility, as well as other functional areas within the organization
    • Activities will vary based on business need, and management directive.


    Position Qualifications


    • Two or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, engineering, or customer service function
    • Ability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals within the organization
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing systems that are dependent on bills, routings (recipes), and other key elements within an automated manufacturing system
    • Strong organizational skills a must.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-moving, demanding environment.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook. Familiarity with SAP and Oracle or related software a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • College degree or related work experience
