    ACCO Brands’ Digital Marketing team is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop and launch dynamic digital marketing programs.


    The Digital Marketing Team will work as part of the overall ACCO Brands Marketing organization, leveraging the resources and strategy of the organization’s multi-channel marketing efforts to deliver growth in ACCO’s direct sales. There is a significant opportunity for this role to grow in numerous internal directions, as ACCO continues to grow its digital presence across North America and worldwide.


    Position will be based in ACCO’s Lake Zurich, IL corproate office. Opportunities to work from downtown Chicago WeWork location is possible for the right candidates.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Owning the strategy, roadmap, and creation process around non-product specific content for the associated brands
    • Developing the digital pathway for new brands and products at ACCO in a new category/space targeting consumer
    • Having a hands-on approach to working with internal and external agencies to fill gaps as needed.
    • Proactively looking at ways to use digital media, grassroots campaigns within limited budgets and timing
    • Work closely with eCommerce, the global innovation team and channel marketing teams to ensure work is driving measurable increases in business performance in relevant channels.
    • Define user journey and driving digital assets to address consumer/business needs from discovery through to the point of acquisition.
    • Owning the social media strategy and execution for the brand.
    • Work closely with eCommerce and channel marketing teams to ensure work is driving measureable increases in business performance in relevant channels.
    • Interfacing with product marketing and sales owners on content needs.
    • Writing on-brand, value-based collateral using appropriate tone and style
    • Educating product teams on standards and content creation practices, including educational workshops or ad hoc training

    Position Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience 
    • Certification in marketing automation, email, analytics, and content management systems a plus

    Years of Relevant Experience

    • 3--5 years of digital marketing experience 
    • 2+ years of content marketing, including onsite content, blogging, influencer marketing, social media marketing, developing advocates

    Skills & Knowledge

    • Proven digital marketing and technical experience 
    • Demonstrated experience in leveraging social media to drive consumer/business engagement and sales
    • Solid understanding of contemporary SEO practices
    • Understanding of digital marketing KPIs (CTR, ROAS, CR, etc.) 
    • Superior writing and editing skills – the ability to cut through the clutter 
    • Strong verbal communication skills 
    • Problem-solving skills 
    • Working knowledge of content management systems
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
