    ACCO Brands is seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst to support global HRIS and payroll technologies in a co-sourced payroll environment. This position partners with various levels of HR and their internal customers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes through complex data analysis and report analytics and leverage the return on technological capabilities.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Lead or assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades and patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades, enhancements, and fixes.
    • Develop and maintain HR system tables, and document processes and results in a quick and efficient manner.
    • Provide business and systems analysis expertise to support HR systems, including but not limited to, researching and resolving HR system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
    • Consult with Human Resources business community to analyze complex business processes and needs, identify root cause issues, and design system and process solutions that will deliver the desired value while minimizing complexity and support costs.
    • Compare data from different sources to draw conclusions. Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develop appropriate solutions. Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.
    • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementing. Understand and use qualitative and quantitative measurement and data collection design principles. 
    • Write, maintain and support a variety of complex reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard and complex reports for on-going customer needs.
    • Maintain data integrity in systems by developing and running audit queries, analyzing data and developing and implementing methods to ensure the root source data quality. Interprets data, finds patterns, and make business recommendations based on trends in data.
    • Develop user procedures, guidelines, training materials and documentation. Train clients and new users on new processes and functionality.
    • Develop in-depth understanding of all the system tools supporting the Human Resources function and serves as an expert in consulting with stakeholders.
    • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Three to five years of HR systems and business analytics experience is required
    • Ceridian Dayforce experience is required, KRONOS Workforce experience is a plus
    • Must have a minimum of two years of heavy database report writing experience
    • Systems implementation experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of HR system database / interface design including table structures, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
    • Excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands with proven results
    • Advanced knowledge of XML, MS Excel, Access
    • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a team environment, to think analytically through complex HR and business issues, resolving through system capabilities
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate system resolution with vendors and interfaces between vendors
    • Solid experience analyzing and creating complex HRIS reports
    • Demonstrated ability to think laterally with high levels of persistence to solve problems
