    We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd Shift in the Board Manufacturing Center for the Booneville, MS plant.

    Principle Duties, Responsibilities, and Authority:

    • Perform roving audits of materials, products, and processes for compliance, accuracy, and functionality and adherence to standards.
    • Complete and process necessary documentation and/or paperwork.
    • Provide troubleshooting and problem solving assistance.
    • Read pertinent documentation as required to verify correct products and components (i.e. - Bills of Material (BOM), prints, specifications and/or Shop Packs).
    • Helps train and instruct new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods.
    • Verifies accuracy of finished goods - assembly, components, packing, labeling, stacking, etc.
    • Works with others regarding new product implementation.
    • Help develop and implement standard work instructions, best practices, process control documentation, and audit procedures and processes.
    • Maintain accurate records of audit activities.
    • Explain problems or findings to plant management and reports audit performance results.
    • Authority to stop production or place a product and/or materials on “Quality Hold” when unacceptable product/material is discovered.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
    • Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as Company rules and policies.
    • Perform tasks with limited or no supervision.
    • Work overtime as required.
    • Maintain satisfactory performance levels.
    • Able to organize and direct special projects with minimal direction as required including direction of temp labor as needed.
    • Participate in process and cost improvement teams as required.
    • May be required to perform duties of a DC Associate 1 to include picking orders and unloading inbound containers.
    • Perform other duties as needed.


    Position Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Required High School diploma or G.E.D.
    • Some manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Prefer ability to use various instruments and equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, hardness gauge, pallet jack, etc…).
    • Required ability to use a personal computer - Word, Excel, WMS, etc.
    • Required ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
    • Required ability to work well with other departments.
    • Good organizational skills required.
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills required.
