The IT Audit & Compliance Director's primary responsibility and accountability is to deliver a favorable outcome to the annual internal and external audit.  Additionally, this person will manage and perform IT compliance functions, including the execution of IT specific Sarbanes - Oxley (SOX) regulatory policies and procedures, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), all applicable state and federal privacy laws and regulations, the oversight of outsourced responsibilities for control self-assessments, and providing direct support for other IT compliance activities. This individual is also responsible for the preparation of control deficiency reports, coordination of IT-related audit activities, findings, management responses, and corrective action plans. In addition, they will be supporting all audit-related aspects of IT applications and infrastructure, development of comprehensive risk assessments, the annual IT audit plan and staff supervision. This position partners closely with Internal Audit, external auditors, and the business at varying levels of the organization to ensure required audit and regulatory IT controls are adequately designed, implemented, and performed.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: 

  • Management of a global team responsible for the delivery of a favorable outcome to the annual internal and external audit.
  • Serve as a subject-matter-expert in the following areas: SOX and COSO 2013 regulations, rules, and compliance requirement.
  • Responsible for keeping the company current on regulatory changes.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations and policies enforced by the PCAOB.
  • Responsible for documenting all related compliance policies and procedures and ensuring staff is kept current on any changes or updates to the program.  Establish/ update policies and procedures for Global IT compliance, Coordinate and manage efforts associated with IT policies and standards reviews.
  • Create and execute strategic roadmap for Audit Compliance and Risk Management; Optimize compliance processes across the global enterprise.

ACCO Brands is seeking a Category Analyst.  This Category Analyst can be located in either our Sidney, NY, or Kettering, OH office.

 

The Category Analyst will be a key team member in development of category, channel and customer strategies and directly supports a key customer’s initiatives through data and market analysis.  By working with the retailer and internal sales and marketing teams, the Category Analyst will interpret data and market trends to provide actionable insights to customer and ACCO Brands strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide actionable insights to the retailer by interpreting market information and data trends.  Deliver fact-based recommendations and reporting for product, price, place and promotion opportunities.
  • Interpret data trends and prepare reporting and analysis to present a clear roadmap for Leadership, Sales and Marketing.  Regularly communicate POS results and next steps to leadership.

This position will be responsible for managing the operations of the Warehouse activities at the Sidney, NY location by achieving department goals through effective management of their supervisory team, overseeing shipping and receiving functions, inventory control and quality assurance.  The Warehouse Manager identifies, leads and/or coaches projects to improve process, transactional accuracy, systems, safety and expanded employee understanding of inventory handling and control functions.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead a strong distribution team that can deliver on business goals and provide customer service. Inspire and motivate team members and develop individual accountability at every level.
  2. Manages all assets within the warehouse that impact the receipt, identification, storage, safeguarding, auditing and issuing of raw and WIP materials and of finished good units.
  3. Provide operational expertise and implement operational practices necessary to support the success of the department. Can identify and resolve operating problems.
  4. Provides direction to supervisors and employees in identifying and implementing improvements in the handling, safeguarding, transacting or identification of inventory. Ensures documentation of existing and revised procedures and development of related training materials.
  5. Continuously develops and implements new leadership tools and methods that help the department become more effective, efficient and customer-focused (both externally and internally).
  6. Ensures the maintenance of an environment in which people are motivated to perform as a team in pursuit of company goals.
  7. Ensures effective communication and decision-making.
